Dr. Neelam Verma is also a Kathak Dancer and happens to be the only performing medico disciple of Padma Vibhushan Kathak Guru Pt. Birju Maharaj.

She performs on Poetic Compositions. Some of her well acclaimed performances include Uttistha Bharata Bsaed on the Gita, Naika Bhaav on poems by Mahadevi  Varma , Unmaad on  Ritusamhara  by Kalidasa, Saumitrapriya on Saket by Sri Maithili Saran Gupt, Sanmvedna on poetry by Ramanath Awasthy & Bashir Badra, Shivangini Ganga  on descent of Ganges and Dekhe Vrindavan mein Shyam on Radha Krishna Raas while in Vrindavan.

Her Yugantar is based on patriotic poetry composed during the Struggle for Indian Independence.
